I’m sharing my experience after many years as a customer of Diesel Doctor. I recently brought my truck in for a fuel issue. Jessie told me that installing a specific fuel system would completely fix the problem and that there were no other issues. I approved the $3,000 repair, but the problem was not fixed. Jessie then said I needed new fuel injectors, a fuel pressure regulator, and additional parts for an additional $3,000 estimate. During the diagnostic process, the technician who rode with me while towing a load had difficulty connecting the diagnostic scanner and did not seem to understand several of the issues occurring under load. He also failed to check exhaust gas temperatures, which would likely have led to an accurate diagnosis from the start. I was quoted 13.5 hours of labor just to remove and test the injectors, something I had specifically asked to be checked, along with the fuel pressure regulator, before the recommended fuel system was installed. Jessie assured me that the new fuel system he favored would fix the issue. I ultimately took my truck to another diesel mechanic who repaired it correctly for $1,500. That mechanic mentioned they often service vehicles that

Diesel Doctors - San Diego, CA Brought my F-350 6.0 in after running into PCM issues, and the team at Diesel Doctors absolutely delivered. From the start, they were professional, straight-shooting, and clearly know these trucks inside and out. No fluffβ€”just solid diagnostics, honest communication, and real results. You can tell this is a shop run by folks who not only know their craft but take real pride in doing it right. The crew worked efficiently and confidently, and I drove away with peace of mind for my 1000m trip home, towing my Vintage Airstream. It’s tough finding mechanics you can trust, especially with something like a 6.0, but Diesel Doctors earned that trust and then some. Great crew, great workβ€”highly recommend. Thanks Jess & Crew!

My dad recently passed away and passed down his 2006 Chevy Duramax to me. I was really nervous to take it to a random mechanic because of how important the truck is to me and also becauseim planning on using to haul a camping trailer with my family, so i needed it reliable. The trucks battery's kept draining and my fuel filter housing had a bad leak. I found these guys online, with all the great reviews, I had to check them out. I have never experienced that level of customer service for mechanical work. I felt a huge relief right away once Albert began looking over the truck. It was clear that they are very knowledgeable, honest and fair with pricing. The truck was ready in less than 24hrs. I mentioned to Albert i needed to get it smogged, he went ahead and took care of that for me. This is my go to from now on for all my diesel mechanical needs. I've already recommended them to a few friends and family with diesels. Also, the chevy has been working perfectly now. Thanks Diesel Doctor!

BEST OF EVERYTHING! Jesse and his crew are honest, very friendly and shared knowledge with me on how to keep my truck reliable. This has never happened before. I love this place and so does my truck! These guys are perfect! The Chevrolet dealer misdiagnosed my Duramax so I towed it to The Diesel Doctor and Jesse got it right the first time and every time thereafter. If you don't want to waste money anywhere else like I did then please go to the diesel doctor and get it done right the first time. My truck has a hundred 110,000 Miles on it and has never run better. Thank you Jesse and Company!

Was experiencing hard starts on my 06' F350 6.0 and were getting worse and worse. Finally thought I better go to the dealership after my gas mechanic couldn't figure out my diesel trucks problem. Ford dealership said that my lower crank case seals are leaking and recommend replacing, saying low oil pressure can cause a harder start. After having my truck for a week, quoted me over $4000 to take care of the oil leak! Had I done this, it would not of solved the problem. Called up The Diesel Doctor on a Sunday and left a message. Got a call back first thing Monday morning. Jesse scheduled me for the following Monday to bring my truck in and scan it. I figured it must be a busy shop if I had to wait a week for an appointment? Showed up for my appointment to a very clean shop with some very, very polite mechanics as I waited a couple minutes for Jesse. They did the scan with his "million dollar" scanner and thought they had the problem nailed down - IPR. He ordered it up right away, installed it - but after a quick test drive up the hill, discovered that at a certain temperature the truck continued to have the hard start, once he turned it off after the test drive. He gladly decided he'
